Our first fundraiser for the adoption was a huge success. We held a parent's night out at my school and had over 65 children and 15 teacher friends who helped make it all possible. Our theme for the night was love and we started off with a pizza dinner. We followed up with fun crafts, decorated sugar cookies and game time.

The cost for the night was a donation to our adoption fund. We ended up taking in $1195.00 that will go to help bring Kennedy home. We are blessed beyond belief to have such wonderful friends and parents who want to be a part of our journey. Thanks to all who made last night possible.

And do not neglect doing good and sharing; for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16. |
Oh I LOVE this, and wish I had been there to share in the fun!!! Where do I get a SHIRT?!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! I was just talking to my husband about doing something like this!! Can you give me some more details on it? How did you get so many families? Where did you do it at?
ReplyDeleteThanks!

At long last! I have added you to the blog roll. All the recent changes made to it were due to attempting to add your family actually. It would not allow me to add your family and I had to do an overhaul and delete a lot of old blogs to get it working again. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your patience. Good luck!!
